These programs are designed to effect positive growth in teams. Using the experiential process, your group will be challenged with activities that require problem solving and group interaction. The activities range from very physical to not physical at all. An expert facilitator will lead your group and process their experience, and the activities are customized to fit your specific goals and learning objectives.
Programs at Northern Lights Rock and Ice include a half or full day of recreational and team development challenges. Your company’s program could include exciting activities such as Webmaster, Colorblind, Strategy, Link Line, Geocaching, games and initiatives and our low challenge course. These activities are all low to or on the ground and very accessible for all ability levels. They challenge your team to communicate, problem solve, take risks, share and develop trust together. We offer our high and middle challenge elements as more challenging recreational or team development process for your team. We move your entire team in groups across our high course, they communicate, problem solve and work together at forty feet. The middle course allows for some to climb and some to belay on the ground. Our trained facilitators customize your teams’ program to help you attain your desired and chosen goals.
Northern Lights Rock and Ice is a "challenge by choice" facility. We ask participants to choose challenges that are right for them. It is important, especially in today's world to feel supported around choices. Stepping out of your comfort zone, whatever the challenge is will provide an awesome experiential learning experience.
Half day (3 hours) and full day (6 hours) programs require a minimum of 8 people. Groups 45 or larger, a full day is highly recommended due to activity duration. Average instructor ratio is 1:8; this figure is dependent on the activities and how many total participants.
