We’ve got a great opportunity for you to get out there and have some fun on our challenging courses. We offer different Recreational program options to stimulate your sense of adventure. These programs can be adapted for people with physical disabilities.

Group Recreational Programs are scheduled in half day (3 hours) and full day (6 hours) time blocks. The maximum number of participants for a full day program is 100 people. If you have a larger group, we can spread your event out over multiple days.

Some of our recreational activities include:

High, Mid and Low Challenge Courses

The Challenge Course is a universally accessible individual and team development tool. It consists of high and low cutting edge elements. The unique design of our High Challenge Course allows entire teams divided into 4 groups of 8-10 individuals (32 at any one time) to progress at height (approximately 40 feet off the ground) thereby maximizing the team building experience while focusing on collaboration, risk taking, trust, communication, coaching and problem solving. The course gives participants the opportunity to expand their comfort zones and thinking while working through fears and roadblocks to personal and group achievement. The Mid level Challenge Course (approximately 25 feet off the ground) is designed so that some participants stay on the ground to belay their teammates as they climb up to attempt an air borne challenge. This process allows team members to choose how high they go off the ground while keeping everyone vitally involved in the team effort. Our low challenge course consists of eight imaginative group challenges close to, or on the ground that test each group's problem solving, communication, and leadership practices and skills. NLRI expert facilitators frame and debrief each of these challenges in a way to maximize learning and insights that are applicable to each team's "work-a-day" environment. In this way NLRI becomes a rehearsal space for improved team collaboration, communcation, and leadership.

EntrePrises© Climbing Pinnacle/TopOut Boulder

An EntrePrises© pinnacle offers participant’s additional teambuilding challenges as well as opportunities for climbing instruction. Life-like rock climbing and top out feature gives an individual and groups an opportunity to learn metaphors for work and life. Stepping outside life’s comfort zones and achieving personal and group success.

Dual Zip Wires

Dual  450' zip wires are a fast, high adrenaline challenge.

Ice Climbing “L” Wall

NLRI Ice Wall

Our doubled-sided rock and ice climbing structure features rock climbing on the inside during warmer months and real ice climbing during the colder months on a 17,000 gallon frozen water fall. All of the necessary climbing equipment is provided. All you need is the desire to take that first step. On-site snow-making allows NLRI to offer consistent real ice climbing conditions. The outer side of the "L Wall" offers summer ice climbing/dry tooling on 800 sq feet of Entre Prises Dry Ice foam panels studded with rock climbing holds.
