Recreational Adventure Prices and Packages
The times (activity duration) listed below are approximate and based on the number and comfort level of all participants.   Northern Lights Rock and Ice offers a variety of individual, family and recreational group adventure packages. We have exciting opportunities for self-empowerment, family bonding and group/friend connections. We offer facilitated “challenge by choice “adventure and recreation that will make your visit to NLRI memorable, fun and inspiring! So bring yourself, your family and friends to new heights of adventure with us. Reservations are required for all activities at Northern Lights Rock and Ice.   We reserve the right to refuse participation due to safety issues.  An NLRI Waiver/Release is required from ALL participants AND observers. NLRI has a full price 24-hour cancellation policy; reservations MUST be cancelled 24 hours prior to your reserved arrival time or you will be charged full price for all participant’s reserved activities.

Taste of Northern Lights – (Up to 2 to 3 hours – Staff and gear included)
Build your own “Customized” adventure at NLRI with our Taste!   This personally guided journey is for everyone. It includes 2 to 3 hours of exhilarating activities.  Choose from our high challenge course, zip lines, inner passage, rock or ice climbing, low element challenge course, geo-caching, leap, giant swing and survivor challenge. Come taste the adventure! (Please note ice climbing is an additional $20 per person and will be added to the cost below)

High on Life or Inner Passage – (Up to 1 hour – Staff and gear included)
Take a walk on our high or mid-level adventure challenge course and zip line. Challenge yourself, your family and friends!

High on Life – Sunset and Night Time Adventure – (1 to 1-1/2 hours – Minimum 2 participants – Staff and gear included)
NLRI has beautiful Sunset or Moonlit Nighttime adventures year round! Challenge yourself and a partner, your family and friends to an amazing journey through our challenge course and zip lines. We’ll provide the Instructors and headlamps for an amazing experience.

Zip and You’ll Zip Again – (Approximately 1/2 hour – Staff and gear included)
Short on time? Want to experience a quick rush of adrenaline? Come do the cargo/zip once, you’ll want to do it again!

Climbing Adventures
A Taste of Rock & Ice (Climbing) – (Staff instruction and gear included)
Have a taste of our rock or ice walls; it’s wonderful for individuals and couples looking for a little taste of adventure, great for beginners.
Taste of Rock for 1 - $40 per person (1 hour)
Taste of Rock for 2  - $30 per person (1 ½ hours)
Taste of Rock for 3 – 4 - $20 per person (2 hours)

Taste of Ice for 1 - $80 per person (1 ½ hours)
Taste of Ice for 2 - $70 per person (2 hours)
Taste of Ice for 3 – 4 - $60 per person (2 ½ hours)

Work Out Climbing Rock or Ice (Experienced Climbers ONLY) (Up to 2 hours – belay cert required)
Bring a friend and your own gear. (Rent gear from us - $10/Rock and $15/Ice)

Portable Climbing Wall – (1 hour – Staff and gear included)
This is great for kids and adults to play and climb together. Meet your friends and have a “play date” at Northern Lights Rock and Ice. Everyone can enjoy some “extra–ordinary” fun on our portable wall.  Ask about our off-site portable wall rental, great for family and group events!
Portable Wall Climbing – $20 per person (Staff supervision)

Geo-caching – (45min. – 1 ½hrs. – Minimum 2 – Staff instruction and gear included)
This is high-tech fun using a GPS device and/or compass. We teach you to use these devices and set you off in search of the missing treasures. It’s a great opportunity to get out and take a walk with friends and family!
One – 2 - $40 per person
Groups 3 - 7 - $35 per person
Groups 8 – 15 - $30 per person (participants may be split into two groups)

Survivor Challenge– (1 to 2 hours – Minimum of 2 – Staff instruction and gear included)
Up for a challenge on our survivor obstacle course? (All elements close to the ground) We’ll show you the way! Test your group’s “Survivor” abilities on selected elements and initiatives for an adventure you won’t soon forget. You’ll have to put your heads together to solve these challenges. This is suitable for participants of all ages and abilities.

Snow Tubing (Winter Season Only) (1 to 2 hours)

Ice Skating W/Rentals (Winter Season Only) (Minimally Staff Supervised, minors 13 and under must be accompanied by parent/guardian)
